After being treated poorly one time too many I’ve decided to
cancel my two FOIA cases with the US National archives (‘Interrogation of mr
Hayashi’ and the two missing reports of NAASt 5).
In the past I simply said nothing because I wanted the file
but now I’m too old for this shit.
As a veteran of several FOIA battles I understand your frustration. Your work over the years has been a significant service to intelligence historians. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteA system in a free country where 80 year old "secrets" are still protected is a joke. It really surprises me how documents from the 1940s are still redacted by some bureaucrats. Frustration is then the normal feeling for any dedicated historian.
